Microscopy - Fluorescence

An investigator is able to use the Zeiss Imager A.1 to view slides which exhibit fluorescence. The microscope has a UV lamp and filters for various wavelengths of emission. The filters can be viewed by going to the Zeiss Axioskop link at the bottom on the page. Using the Microscope and the software, an investigator is able to take pictures of the fluorescent images. One of the great features of the software package is that it allows the investigator to overlay different images on top of one another. This allows the investigator to view samples with different colors in one image. Below are a couple examples taken with our Microscope.
